What is a quiz funnel?

A quiz funnel is an acquisition path where a short interactive quiz replaces the landing-page form, using the questions themselves to earn the contact details rather than asking for them up front.

Why the format converts at all

Because answering a question is a smaller commitment than filling a form, and each answer makes the next one easier to give.

A landing page asks for everything at once from someone who has no relationship with you. A quiz asks for one small thing, then another, and arrives at the contact details after the person has already invested several minutes. The psychology is unremarkable and the effect is consistent.

The catch nobody mentions

The same mechanics that make a quiz funnel convert well also make it very good at converting people you cannot help.

Lower commitment means lower self-selection. A funnel that triples form fills and leaves the qualified count flat has not improved anything, it has moved the filtering work onto your sales team. Whether that is a win depends entirely on what you score and what you do with the score.
